Easter, March 24th 2008

New baby in the family: Maclin Parker Cavanaugh Pingree, or "Mac" for short. Born to Haley and Liam on St. Patrick's Day!

He weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz and is healthy, cute, and a BOY! This means Elliot's got another dude in the family 8 months younger than him, so they'll probably end up being inseperably-close friends... we hope!

Nicole was there for the delivery and helped Haley out with some breathing and pressure point techniques our dula taught us when we were getting ready for Elliot's birth. Then she got some great photos of the baby and his family.

We took Elliot up to Canada for Easter and he got to hunt for his presents, which was a lot of fun.

He's also got his two bottom front teeth now...

We've been taking Elliot for walks through the forest park trail near our house in the mornings. I almost never wear hats, that's how cold it is in the mornings...

Sir Elliot gives us his dignified look.

"If only I could get out there..."

Then he sees the fuzzy pillow and wonders if it's edible.

He locates his Easter Bunny, only to discover it's actually a bear in a bunny suit!

His trust is shattered, and he stares at it, wary... cautious...

Then he gets down to business!

Elliot tries to ride the big blue ball.

He dreams of getting outside and exploring the vast world beyond the windows.

Exhausted, he collapses on his soft, chubby arm and rests.

Up in Canada, he looks for his Easter presents.

I was able to take advantage of one of his sensitive moments, to get this shot of his new teeth!

His favorite thing in the world: Zero-G time!
